Alero + Deer = Passat
Hit a deer Monday morning on the way to work. It shattered the passenger headlight and the entire headlight support piece. I only had liability on it since these cars are a dime a dozen, but I'm planning on fixing it back up since mechanically it didn't hurt anything.
It's replacement is a 2006 Passat 2.0T with 78k miles. It has every option including navigation. The interior is nicer than my wife's 2010 TDI.

I gave up the 99 Grand Am for a TDI, Ill be damed if I will put two in the driveway!!... lol They do look good though, hope it serves you well bud. Using the TDI for commuting is saving me almost 150 bucks a week too!

They were custom made. BMW Z3 inserts molded into the stock fender.

OH YEAAA....be prepared for more damage....its not just gonna be replacing the headlight support, hood, fender, bumper cover and bumper.....i bet some of the structure is damaged but yea..it can be fixed....but until you have it all apart you cant see all the damage. Compare it to the other side....does it look the same? Good luck

Obligatory:
I'll buff right out!!!
Anyway, it looks like you only need a hood, fender, and headlight, etc. Easy fix.

not really
looks like the headlight mount panle, headlight, hood, rt side hood hinge, repair the upper tie bar, which the car would need to go on the frame rack and pulled back
hood latch, energy absorber, bumper, olds emblem , rt fender, and then paint time, blend lt fender, blend rt door, all the r&i work to the rt door
your looking at over 3k in damage possibly more worth it??? nope if ya love the car then fix it if ya dont junk it
the vw`s i effing hate working on them the door skins are bolted on and a pain in my ball sack to work on , the core support like every newer car out there is a smc bolt on core support and again a pain in my left nut to work on
sure they look nice may ride nice but to work on forget it!!!! eff those cars!!!

Yeah it would probably be 3k if a shop fixed it, but around here you can get complete parts cars for under $800. I can do all the labor and paint myself. The car still has a lot of life left and makes for cheap transportation.
