Then again I don't look around much.. good to know for the future though.

A lot of mono amplifiers have this. I am pretty sure the majority of amplifiers have this. My Crescendo that does a rated 3,300rms @ 1-ohm and 4,000rms @.5-ohms has two sets. You can consider it "newbness" on smaller amplifiers, I just call it more convenient than trying to stuff two strands of 8 gauge speaker cable into the same terminal. I've actually seen VERY FEW mono-amplifiers that are NOT internally bridged...

Ryan from Ohio will become famous soon enough
Mono amplifiers are just that, single channel.

Its just a different way to get to the same thing. He could take both speakers and wire both to only one terminal set and have same effect.

For the battery fuse- you usually fuse according to wire. The only function of this fuse is to blow if you happen to short the power wire.

Since electrons flow from - to + the fuse up front is after all the work. Electric flows thru the chassis of the car, into the amp then back out to the battery via that red wire.

I'm more then likely getting the Kicker / Kenwood package, as my dad agrees to get me subs for a grad present. He doesn't really want me to order them online though, and doesn't trust my judgement on my choice of speakers. He wants to ask the MASS radio guys at work about them, who will try and talk them into something they have, which is exactly what I don't want.
