Remember, this is not a total CF hood!
The hood has a CF skin with a fiberglass frame. My mech installed my hood, which I had shipped right to his shop (I lived in my ghetto apartment at the time) and he said it is a good hood and does not require hood pins. Plus without the hood struts in place, it's that much less of a chance of the hood flying open

Mine rattles a lot around 85, but it is your risk.
I would recommend if you want to go fast put on the stock hood.
I'm hoping to, in the future, copy mine and try to sell them to Alero owners.
Does anyone know how much they went for originally?

And to think i picked mine up for $200cdn.... with current exchange that's like what $85us? Lol i know that's not accurate but still....

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't want that to happen either if it were me. Like I said it's totally up to you man what you decide to do with it. I'm sure it will be much easier to determine what needs to be done as far as that goes once you actually have it in your possession and can look at it more closely.

Mine needs a repaint bad and is in need of some repair.
Going to try to keep the CF stripe on the side of the cowl though
