February is "Best Photoshopped Alero" for AOTM, so get to work guys!
We usually get a lot of great pics/ideas with this contest. Look for the posting to start around the 20th

Why not set the threads up in advance and as people have great photos they can post for that months contest? Especially since participation has dropped off. I had a photo for the winter one, but there was no thread to post in until I was on vacation with no access to my photo.

on the front page, there are links to the past AOTM winners. Since 2010 I have had a thread which is posted. The thread is locked so nobody can post in it

I think he means set up the year's worth of monthly.contests... then when people can, they can add their entry instead of limiting it to only a few days each month to try and enter... then you can update it 4-5 days before the deadline for last minute entries... might help with participation!!

Not only that, but what happens when you exceed the "quota" for upload space? Now I can't upload a new photo without deleting a previous one, which effectively puts a red X in the old AOTM threads.....

It's because the AOTM pictures should be hosted on the main file structure instead of just in the forum's uploaded files section. Easy to do, if I were still allowed to do things like that.

Depends... actual domain worth for " aleromod.com " is $56.80 however you have to look on the sentimental side.... to the owners aleromod is close to priceless....
