Crank Sensor Problem

I Have An 01 Alero 3.4l And I Constantly Have A Crank Sensor Code. I Replaced Both The 3x And The 24x Crank Sensor. Wondering If There Is Any Common Problems That Anyone Has Encountered That Might Help Me Out. It Would Be Greatly Apreciated. Thank You.

It's 7x and 24x, don't know if maybe you picked up the wrong one or not

Yeah thats what i meant. But no I know for a fact that I replaced the correct ones. As you know there is 2 of them, the one on the side of the block, and the one under the harmonic balancer. Both got replaced. But the same code appears. I dont know if maybe I have a short to ground or what. Or maybe even a frayed or broken wire. I read the signals with a Genysis scanner and I have a response out of both sensors but the 24x sensor doesnt like to read accurately.

when crank sensors are replaced they need calibrated/relearn by tech2 , hptuner or dhp tuner

If it's the 24x giving you problems, how is the ring on the inside of the balancer? If it's chipped or bent, it will cause problems

There is a trigger wire that goes from the ign module down to the 7x sensor. It is a twisted 2 wire connection. With exposure to heat back there the wire will sometimes fuse and skew the signal sent to the module to start the firing order of the coils. I would replace that lead, I bet it solves the poblem as this is a very common issue
