Cool Intake?

I have an 02 GLS Coupe 3.4 liter and want to get an intake. I am looking at www.drspeed.com. They have a couple listed on the site. However...doesent the alero already draw cold air from the outside......is it really worth spending the money....and would it even be noticable? I am looking at the ram intake....I do however want to get dual exhaust for sure!

So basically what intake is best 3 piece cold air...cold air box....or ram intake?

Thanks

CAI is the best IMO. The stock tubing has one big dip and it robs HP, the CAI take air directly from the fender well.

I don't use CAI on the street, it could suck up water and the filter get dirty quickly. I have the dr speed cold air but convert to WAI for street use.

Look at my cardomain link in my sig, and you'll understand what I'm talking about

cai is fine for daily driving. chances of it causing hydrolock is slim. as long as you dont drive you car as if its a boat in a flood.....

Where did you get that cool V6 sticker on the back of your alero....I am referring to cardomain? Also....your dual exhaust looks rad...I would love to find a shop that could make it look like a fatory cutout like that....I am planning on dual exhaust for sure....but I do not know what size or brand?

Lastly.....how hard would it be to install the cold air....really...is it a pain or a lot of work?

Thanks a lot reddog

nateb06 is an unknown quantity at this point
why do you all buy the drspeed one? I bought a APC civic intake with filter for 80$ from pep boys, ripped out the stock intake and jammed in the APC and my car was screamin down the street within 2 hours of work. So much more power, and the whistle is awsome, along with teh deeper engine tone. Just my .02$ I like my $$
