well, only if you want a little more power. The underdrive basically reduces rotational drag from your power steering pump, A/C clutch, and alternator, so in a way, it "free's up" a little more horsepower, and allows for a little bit quicker rev's.
If you're running a high powered sound system, you might want to rethink that one, unless you want to get an aftermarket alternator pulley to go with it. If not, it will be fine as is.

Even with my Amp (a small 40 x 4 RMS), my voltage gauge never goes below middle on my 3400 with the stock alternator and FFP pulley. So you'd probably have to have something fairly large to really create a drop in the voltage.

Does anyone know if the FFP pulleys are also lightened, or are they just underdriven? And about how much are we lookin at?

they are significantly lighter than the stock pulley, I don't remember the exact numbers though.

i believe that it is to make sure that the computer knows where tdc in relation to the positioning of the crank after you play with the drive pulley or the timing but that is just my understanding of it. im sure someone will correct me.

TDC is an acronym for Top Dead Center. It basically means when the number one piston is at the very top of the compression stroke, and there's usually a mark on the crank pulley to indicate when it is rotated correctly into that position, or else a timing mark to indicate at what degrees the base timing is set at when it's in the correct spot.

look on summitracing.com and jegs.com, i run 2 tranny coolers, and under hard driving my tranny reaches a max of aprox 175 degrees, i have a b&m and a flex-a-lite, both are inexpensive. i already have an oil cooler, just need to find the oil filter adapter.
