installatiom of tachometer

iam imstalling a tachometer and i dont know where the ignition coil or electronic ignition.



Can Any One Help

I don't have a diagram handy right now, but the ignition module does have a Tach output on it.

OK I'm not sure where the tach port is on the Alero, so I'm going off the Delta's tach install.

Should be on the side of the coil pack, but it will be covered. You might be able to feel the spade from the bottom. Get a 18 gauge female spade connector from any Auto Zone or Pep Boys (18-22 gauge connectors are usually red and are 2 bucks for a pack of 10) hook the tach wire to the spade, and then simply plug it in.

It will take a bit of play, but it will slide up pretty far. Be check first to see if you have this port. I don't even know if it will be marked.
