whats the flowmaster sound like?
im planning to get my exhausr put on this weekend and i planned on the flowmaster exhaust. what do they sound like under wot? like loud? how can you describe it?

I think that the 80 series is the best sounding flowmaster muffler. It is deep but not to loud.

but your car has a highflow cat and headers. yours is mega sexy. mine wouldnt sound like that

you are right it won't, you can't just throw a cheap muffler on a car and expect a sweet ass exhaust note.......

comparatively, the flowmaster is a cheap way out compared to a good full exhaust setup including a quality set of headers so yes.....
flowmaster is cheap......

I have a catback exhaust with an 80 series muffler and it cost me like 90 bucks for the muffler. I forget the cost of the manderl bent exhaust pipe but the total cost was just over 300 bucks

yea im starting with the muffler then getting a high flow cat next might get the header but i dont think 700 bucks is worth it for headers

no it wasn't i have an 80s series flowmaster muffler on my alero i was commenting on my car.

I have an 80 series on mine with 2.5" from the cat back ... waiting a bit for some headers and a nice cat
The only issue I have is that the 80 tends to drone during highway driving ... but it doesn't really bother me that much.

Get a resonator, almost all aftermarket mufflers drone at highway speed on their own.
