5.25" in the A-pillars
A buddy wanted me to make him some A-pillars with 5.25" speakers in them.. so I did! lol Here's some neat pics.
Fiberglass and body filler later..
Lots more sanding and priming and it's ready for paint!
I used Duplicolor Enamel spray cans!
primer
base
cleared
Disaster!!!!I dropped one when I was picking it up to get the bottom edge painted.. crap! Oh well, once it's dried more sanding and painting for meee
I'll hook him up with them on Monday, hopefully get a chance to toss em in quick so I can get installed shots.

Honestly a kick panel would have got him the same sound but its his choice. Also I like the primer grey better than the glossy black.

really good job on the fab, honestly it really looks out of place for the location. Also, it won't sound all that good there. Mids and highs will sound better when it's not so close to your ears. I would agree with AGT that kick pannel would be a way better spot.

Just because its in your face doesnt mean it will be loud or sound good.
Mid Bass speakers are always best down low and are used to fill the area with sound. When the speaker is up high like that you loose the fill.
Tweeters are almost always off axis by design. Meaning they sound best when utilized off axis (i.e. not pointing right at your face). Please note when I say almost always I men like 99.8% of all tweeters or higher... Anything in a coaxial is meant to be off axis.
