Well a few days ago i saw an alero, that had the fog lights on with daytime running lights, currently mine only work with the headlight at night. Anyone know how to go about mking this work?

never heard of it. alerochick242 you might be thinking of the mod to make it so LOW and HIGH beams run together

just turn ur lights to parking lite setting with ur fog light switch on
unless ur talking about putting them like this, which u can only do dusk when drl's turn off

everybody's jumpin all crazy on this one, the guy or gal was probably just in a dark or hazy area and the headlights were tripped for a bit, sometimes that happens
maybe confused em with drl's or somethin?

maybe their harness is switched inside the assembly and it was regular headlights.

everybody's jumpin all crazy on this one, the guy or gal was probably just in a dark or hazy area and the headlights were tripped for a bit, sometimes that happens

Well it was a sunny day with no shade for miles, and im 100% postivie it was the 2 center lights that were on and the fog lights.

ok i got this one just turn on the park lights like pimpalero said and then turn on your fogs in a bright area, b/c when i turn on my lights to park in the day time the park lights will come on and the daytime running lights will still be on simple ass that

why would want your fogs on during the day anyways? i dont see why you would want ANY lights on during the day. i had my drl's disabled for that reason.

Just a thought, but maybe his high beam bulbs were burnt out or non-existant for that matter, thats really the only way that this could happen, believe me..i've tried..

Exactly my point, DRL's are just high beam bulbs with very little wattage being put into them..

The DRLs run off reduced voltage, not wattage (the bulb itself determines wattage). The DRLs on the '99-'02 models are the high-beam bulbs, and on '03-'04 are the low-beam bulbs (as far as i could find out). The only difference is a wire is switched in the harness, I suppose you could switch the wire to be the fog lights for the DRLs if you wanted...
