So I was driving around the other day when I noticed that my car was making a funny noise. It is kind of hard to explain what i sounds like, all I can think of is something is rubbing against the tire, but I saw nothing. It gets louder as my speed increases, and get quieter when I decrease speed, which makes me believe that its the tires. The second thing I thought of was that I need new tires, so I did the "penny" trick, and lets just say that I can barely not see the top of his head. I am curious to know if you guys think the noise I am hearing just a "natural" tone that the tires need replacing?

Anyone help?!?

Thanks in advance

Justin

Just got it checked out...sure enough 2000_olds...it was wheel bearing, not the hub, so I am getting that fixed tomorrow. Thanks for all the help!

accually the wheel bearing and hub are one unit on these cars. The whole hub has to be replaced when bearings go.
