One HID on during day, two at night
So basically the title says it all, but my only one HID is on during the day but they both come on at night. I dont get it at all. Thoughts?

yeah you need to disable the DRL's. i got rid of em before i even had HID's cause i didnt like them being on all day, waste of a bulb in my opinion, i keep my running lights on during dusk/cloudy day. and hids on in the rain.

i mean it should be possible, i know like 99-02 was high beam for drl and 03-05 i believe was low beam for the drls.

It's possible. Just a simple rewire from the relay. Instead of the wire running to the headlight, run it to a marker light. I would think it would be this easy since some Aleros have the high beam as DRL's and others have the low beam.

This should help some.
Basically you want to separate the DRL signal from the headlight signal after the DRL relay (in the fuse box), and run that to the parking lights / turn signals / added LEDs / whatever.
'Course, what !I! did on my car was to use a relay harness for the headlights - and that way, the HIDs were on full brightness all the time. Different criteria, different decision.
I'd STILL recommend a relay harness with beefier wiring.

I have the harness but the damn thing doesnt fit to my battery. But I will look into turning off my DRL's

You need a post adapter for your battery. I've gotten a couple from best buy. $7 or something like that.

Huh.
How about where the power goes into the main fuse block?
That's where I put my harnesses on my Malibu.
Check this pic:
Notice point 1? That should do the job - it's run straight off the battery.

The drl's dont supply enough power for them thats why. a harness will help. I just disabled mine anyway. the drls supply a little less power then they do for dims, thus only the one light turning on. if you flash them on start up they will both kick on.
