Help with Alpine CDA-105

I just installed some Infinity Kappa 6X9 and 5X1/2 speakers with a Alpine CDA-105. So I hooked up the ipod cable that comes with it and it didn't work so I used my Ipod charger cable and that worked fine. I can listen to my ipod through the deck but not pandora or slacker radio. Even when I hook up a AUX cable it still would not play. I need help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i don't have the CDA-105, I've got a CDE-102, real similar, and i know the HU when on the ipod setting is basically decoding the encrypted song information from the ipod (alpine paid apple for the decoding information), so under the ipod setting all it can do is read actually files, think of it as reading mp3's of a usb drive... as for using a 3.5mm jack on the aux setting, you shouldn't have a problem streaming pandora or anything, i mean it plays through headphones, so it should play through the HU without issues
