I need some suggestions on a safe chemical to clean my rear bumper area, there is some crap on it that doesnt want to easily wash off? it looks like dirt but its not? i just want to douse the whole rear end and let it sit and soak? i was thinking goo gone spray on gel?

i use marine mildew remover...i guess its to get the grit and scum off the outside of the boat. it works awsome on tar and bugs to and wont damage paint. i think goo gone would wreck ur clear coat correct me if im wrong. it is acetone.

is it rail dust?? is it a rust color??? why not try a wax and grease remover like dx 440 if that don`t take it off try buffing it off

hey bro I have found that B12 Chemtool works real well. If it will take pinstriping off without messing up the paint then I think it might help you.

its rail dust the best thing to use is Clay bar on it it works the best I have a white car and it gets on there alot

Meguires scratch-x sucks goat balls and wont remove stuff like this.

Its litteraly that.......rail dust.
When your car gets shipped VIA train the rail dust gets on your paint and embeds itself in your paint. The best and easiest way to remove it is to use a clay bar.
