I've done a bunch of research on coil overs and though its nice they are adjustable in height.....not worth the bone crushing feeling your going to go through while driving the sucker!!

Without getting all into the details, the primary use of coilovers is to improve handling by stiffening the suspension. Ride height adjustment is part of the equation, but not the main reason they're made. If you're going to use coilovers, the ride won't be nice and smooth like stock.

If you want to lower the car, get some lowering springs actually made for an Alero, not a set of universal "coilovers".

I had coilovers once. It sucked for ride. Ride height was great. I felt like I was in a mini truck riding on frame only. I went to cutting my stock springs all at the same amount and it had a better ride than my lowering springs too.

Yeah but they're not vehicle specific. They're just a set of generic springs on some adjustable perches, not really true coilovers. They're not going to drop right onto the stock struts with no problems, you may have to mod them to get them to fit even somewhat decently. True coilovers are close to 10 times the price of lowering springs. You get what you pay for...

..and they're from Mantapart. Good luck getting anything from them. They have a history of taking over a year to send you your parts, if you get them at all, even after you've already paid for them.

Well, the three magic letters for Mantapart are "C.O.D.". I never had any issues from them that way.

The first coilovers posted will work, I had a set similar to those for a cavalier they fit perfect. I didn't need to cut the perch but I did need to cut a couple of the threaded sleeves shorter because other wise my car would bottom out on the 4" sleeves, other than that mine rode quite nice suprisingly.
