i have a 2001 alero

on the way into wok this morning i started to hear some ticking noise like a turnsignal or the hazard signal was on but that was not the case .
i can sit in the car with the engine running and still hear the noise.

one time i had an escort... (and it was sweet) and the battery went dead... and the only thing that did anything in my car was a clicking relay... this story probably has no relevence to your problem but it's my only experience with "clicking" and "relay" in the same sentance.

it was not either one.....so if someone may know what this is could you reply to this
because I'm pretty sure the clicking is coming from the Kangolites' red-hot pokers. Ever get a cramp in your leg while driving? Or have an insane itch all of the sudden on your ankle or on the top of your foot, just farther than your fingers can reach inside your shoe? That's them.

Sorry buddy, I don't think there's anything you can do but put up with their clicking red-hot pokers.

i used to get it too it's the same noise as the turn signal click but nothing is blinking... turns out my outter turn signal in the front was out, replaced the bulb and the clicking went away.

I had the same problem. I replaced the turn signal Unit in the steering column and it fixed the problem. No more CLICKING!! thank god. just pop off the top cover behind the steering wheel. unplug adaptors unscrew out unit (torex screw) and they pull straight up. And install in reverse order

YES!!!! this poll is by far the best. But, i had the clicking too FYI its the companys way to say HEY check out yer engine somethings not right, for me its the blinkers, buuuuut if u want it to look cool when u weave thru traffic unplug the front ones, that way the rear blinkers blink super fast and bright!!!!
