ok im bout to order one, im thinking electric tape, that pipe foam insulator wrip thing then more tape to keep it off

yeah, electrical tape will work just fine. I actually just put the plastic cap that is on the positive wire between the bolt and the intake and it worked fine

definitely do this. It actually says to do that in the included instructions, but better to have it ahead of time before you go tearing everything apart.

i thought i saw somebody say the istructions said it was optional, ill double check though, this sucks cause i dont hvae my recharge kit from the k&n for my pick up anymore

anyplace that sells K&N filters will have them, I have yet to go into an automotive parts store that doesn't sell K&N filters.

i use aem filter recharge kit for all my filters (even my foam dirtbike one) and it also works just fine.
