which is why you ask specialists what kind of speakers you should get.
theres a whole TON of brands you've probably never heard of.... that blow the pants off everything you just listed.
rockford is good for power/subs. not clarity.
pyramid/roadmaster.. never mention those names again.
memphis... i have no experience with.
what about infinity? soundstream? rainbow? polk? JBL? JL? just to name a few other major name brands.
ryan can list out a ton of others that even i've never heard of.

I have my system for now, it's wonderful except for one minor issue. I haven't taken time to confirm it, but I don't seem to be getting sound from the tweeters.
Note tweeters and speakers are still the delcos at the moment

The old stuff is where its at...
Most new stuff is cheap. The price is cheap, the build is cheap. The higher end items are still out there, but from different manufacturers. The prices are anything but cheap also...lol

The new models are built just like Ryan said. Cheaply as possible.

DD and RD mid-line stuff has better "stats" than Orion's higher range stuff. A sub that can take 2500rms daily is childs play lol

I have but they r producing sound just not a lot
Hey, I'm toying with an idea for the rear of my car, is it bad for speaker mags to touch? And if so how far should the magnets be apart if they're in the same enclosure facing different directions

stock tweeters don't produce much at all to begin with. ignore them or upgrade.
as for speakers, pioneer prob aren't too bad if you don't play your music loud. but the 4x6 pioneers i had in my doors completely died (like, absolutely no sound) within about a year after getting them. now i am running 5.25 infinitys. well worth the upgrade, the pioneers don't even begin to compare.
