Paint for bezels...

Is there any safe type of canned spray i could use on my bezels? I want to paint them black when i clear my corners and didn't know what i could buy that would look good, and not wear off easily... Thanks

I used Duplicolor paint.

I scuffeds the bezels and then used a Adhesion Promoter and then paint.

Now do i need to scuff and use an adhesion promoter, or would i be okay with say, just directly spraying on the engine/duplicolor paint?

If you want to do it right, Yes you need to scuff and use promoter. If you want to have to take them apart later on to repair then do it your way, the choice is yours.

YES you need to scuff and use promoter adhesion. If you want to look like my headlights then don't use anything but black spray paint and then do themagain when you get a new pair. LOL

I like the painted bezel look a lot, but I agree with everyone else, sand and use promoter. It will come out looking a lot better.

michaels crafts store paint marker, the painted area is behind the clear lens so it wont be exposed to the weather, I would have used paint but the area around the the turn signals I wanted chrome and tape will pull the chrome off, ( blue painters tape did on mine a little)
