Unhappy Grinding noise in the front end...

Help? Whenever the car is cold and I get in and start her up there is a grinding noise when i turn the wheel...anyone else have this problem before? I thought it was the tie rod so i replaced it but it didn't help...

super white alero1 is on a distinguished road
grinding only when cold? check steering fluid level. then check strut mount. Might be wise to buy a can of liquid penetrate just in case.

Found the problem....$4.00 bottle of power steering fluid...duh!

^Pretty common occurence on most cars for the fluid to run low. It is a very distintive sound, especially when you only here it when you turn the wheel.
