yeah I use my stock radiator, but aftermarket flexalite slim fans because of the headers, if you keep the stock exhaust manifolds you should be ok..

I don' think milzy has the engine mounts alerady made... ask them...

fot the a/c I don't know if the 3400 a/c compressor will bolt up to the 3800 or if the lines are the same... my alero was a 5 speed 2,4l at the begining...
if you already have a bigger exhaust you'll ony have to do a custom downpipe..

check zzperformance.com for all your 3800 stuff, they are the best with those engines..

Here's my YouTube channel with the 3400 setup I have now! Is the swap a bit easier from the 2.4 to the 3800 or 3.4L to the 3800.

my swap was tough because I wanted to stay 5 speed, but I had the transmission mounts and axles already at the good length and everything, but on the downside I had to get a flywheel made and balanced with the engine..

but your swap will be easier because of the fact that you stay with an automatic car and keep the 4t65hd tranny so the harness will be wayyy less job to do than mine (btw, I had no harness with my engine, I did mine from scratch using the 4cyl alero harness)... a couple of thing will need to be bypassed like the 2 speed fuel pump setup in the fusebox if you want to keep your stock fuel pump but all in all the wiring should be simple..

edit, I also tucked my harness and placed the pcm under the dash like stock, not underhood like the 3800

I could have swore I saw in one of your pictures the PCM was ziptied in your engine bay.

well do you want to mod the 3800 or leave it stock ???

anyhow the first thing you'll need to do is install the milzy transmision mounts in their places and then build 2 custom engine mounts welded to the subframe on the passenger side, the best way to do this is to use some round tubing and round bushing from energy suspension and some 1/4in plate... after that do all the mechanical stuff and finish by the wiring... it'll be easier that way

I want to mod it what's the best cam I can get for the engine? What's all done to you engine so I have an idea of what I like. My 3400 does a 9.62 in the 1/8th just with the turbo cam and A little tuning I did!

look on zzperformance, the best cam ever is the xpz but you need stronger lifter and pushrods (they offer them in the kit) it cost a good chunk but it's definately worth it...
but on a s/c engine I would not start with the cam...
First get their stage1 or 2 kit.
this will give you the best bang for the buck...
it's pretty impressive what an unrestricted exhaust, a 3,4 pulley and a colder t-stat, a cold air intake and a little tune can do on this engine... (read easy 60 hp gains)

next would be headers then cam...
if you want more, smaller pulley and intercooler...

on my car before it got keyed, I had ported head and intake headers, custom exhaust, CAI, 78mm throttle body 3,0 in pulley and meth injection
engine was balanced to 10 000rpm, balancer shaft is removed block has ben rehoned, new rings..
at that point I was limited by 3 factors, the m90 blower,no intercooling and no cam...

next winter I'll install my mp112 blower with the intercooler, and I'll remove the meth injection, I'll install a zex small nitrous kit (35-55-75)hp... and the xpz cam package...
I'll rebuild the engine with forged pistons and rods too just to be safe, because stock 3800 have been pushed to 800-900hp...

engine mounts are made and fixtured, have been for some time now. Honestly the project got pushed on the backburner for a while because of lack of payment. When it finally is done, we'll put together a whole swap kit, but until then if you guys need any of the components, just let me know.

the N-body core support isn't made to support the dogbone style of mounting, and I didn't see the point in retro-fitting a reinforcement kit. The solution we came up with is the engine will have two mounts at the bottom of the engine, one in the front, one in the rear. The rear one will also be tied into our own differential bracket for the 4t65e, or into our intermediate shaft mount for use with the F40 6-speed. So in total, the mount kit for the supercharged 3800 swap will come with 3 transmission mounts, one front engine mount and bracket to be welded to cradle, one rear differential bracket, one rear motor mount and bracket to be welded to cradle. Those who choose the F40 will get the F40 versions of the mounts, plus the extra bracket to be welded on the driver's side for the transmission support mount.

I'm not sure if I took pics of the mounts for the engine or not, like I said, it's been a while.
