No A GAGT PCM will not work. It's a bit different with the gauges and stuff, plus the VIN will be wrong and trip a SES.
You are not going to be able to rig this thing up like that. If you do not have HPTuners, and are going to do it yourself, get the same tranny you have now. Same FDR and if you have an 04, get an 04 trans because the pump was different starting in 04
I guess I should have said "with limiter removed" The limiter is there because the stock brakes and suspension are maxed out at 110MPH.
Aleromod doesn't condone high speed or street racing, if you want to find a long road, don't be boasting about it here, please. Other car forums have had people die in accidents due to high speed and street racing.

Nah but i hear ya. I agree with Redog.....get a tranny from an alero. Make it easy.....cause take it from me....once you rip apart a car and put new/diff stuff in sometimes you (or other people) mess up/forget something which then leads to further problems. Get the alero tranny....maybe replace the mount if it's in bad condition and call it a fix. Sometimes i wish i never tore my babies apart

You can do a GA SE tranny, but will need HPTuners for the GT one.

I was assuming at 240,000 miles on the car that it probably did not have the original transmission in it (unless the original transmission got rebuilt).

Changed what 2 years ago? The transmission? If so do you know how many miles the transmission has on it?

Now that I know what little there is holding the suspension together on these cars after working on my GA, I'd be in fear for my life to go that fast in one without something snapping or breaking off. It's a simple suspension design, but not one to be trusted at those speeds.

The only part of my car that was stock was the shell, that's about it. I put 30k into performance on that ride
Suspension is done, this is a run without boost...
