Nope, it doesnt work... it's not a pretty hack but it works if you're desperate to go fly faster than 108mph and into the FUTURE
Shouldn't that be Back to the Future :P

Thanks! I was waiting until after my springs were put in to take some pics, but maybe i'll post some to get the before and after shots....

And anyone who is going over 108 on a track should know how to take the speed govenor off thier ride.... Or else leave it on. period. (I wanted to stay on topic)

Hey guys, I was testing top speed, and as soon as my car hits 110, the rms like reset or somethin, and they go down and it goes up and down up and down, is this because of a govenor, or because that is the true top speed. If I remember right, I was only at like 4800 rpms or somethin close to that.

Is there anyway to program the limitor to a higher speed, id like to keep it on and just increase the speed before it shuts down.

Yes, but not with anything that's available to you. You can raise it with a new PCM, or disable it altogether by one of the methods already mentioned.

I cant remember if there is a way for the 2.4 motor, there is the DHP PCM for the 3400. They may also do them for 2.4, not sure.
