ryan and yalero are the only ones i really am seeing any actual advice from, the idea of turning the sedan in too a coupe is ignorant and would never go over well with my family, (its my car i make the payment but dont do the insurance).
i wanted to use the ports so itd look really clean, however, if you could give me some dimensions (itd be harder too) id be willing to try a slit in the back behind the 6x9s, maybe 2 inches wide and about the width of the rear deck, that way i could cut the carpet there right and glue the carpet under the edges and give it a clean almost factory look

my friend ran and got two 3inch hole cutters(sry bad with proper names) just so if this works we can do his sentra

do both, why not? since what everyone is saying that two 3" holes will not be good enough, then go with four 3" holes, or maybe larger.

it got scrapped, like i said a while back, its just a stand now for the frontend loader on pops tractor
im currently thinking of using that plastic bondo filler mess there and removing those two holders all to get there if i cant find some kinda oem looking strap to go on the open part of the holders
here we go again yall are mocking this instead of helping me do this right, except for yalero and ryan
yalero, is there a way to do this without the trunk becoming a hugely unproportioned bandpass box?

i think the only way to make the car sound like it would with the back seats down... is to make a hole about the same size... try moving your subs around... have them face towards you and pushed close or pushed to the back of the trunk... all of that makes a difference... i cant stand my car with the seats down normally... waaaay too much bass

The bigger the better.
Nothing will be bigger than the two 6x9 holes.
Thats all I can say.
Catch the drift?
Anything short of that is futile.

the plan against that was, while he drills ill push down on a 4x4 wrapped in a towel(to prevetn scratches) that way we hit wood instead of window

ryan if i could fit four or possibly five, how much less of a bandpass would it be, although 4 and 5 chrome ports would be kinda ridiculous looking, what do you think about the slit idea

How often do you have 3 people in the back seat? if you hardly have people there, why not cut an opening in the middle of the seat? People could still sit in the middle, better yet make a hatch in the middle, when there isnt 3 in the back, open it, if there is you can close it, man im SMRT!!!
