To be honest when I first saw this thread a couple days ago, I had no idea what direction it would be going in and I thought it was a stupid idea. I'm glad I didn't say anything because I would be sitting here with my foot in my mouth because that's pretty sweet so far.

While this isn't my thing, and I still don't really like them...It looks a lot cleaner than some you posted a picture of at an earlier point, so for cleaning them up some I give you props, however I still don't know how you could ever put that much sound equipment to use and think it messes with functionality...way to be unique though

It's very possible to make it work. I'm excited for this.

Looks like it's coming along well. I'm not into car audio, but this is pretty sweet, I would even like to do something like this with maybe 2 in each door.

The window regulator and motor is only $50 on ebay. I would do it if I was you... hell I've done it because I had a bottle of spray paint holding my window up from inside the door panel... smh lol

I had a stick of wood holding mine up as well until I got a new one from the junkyard.

i put the quick layer of spray paint to make any spots that still need work to stick out more. its hard to see any little imperfections in bondo.
