Yea ... definitely check the oil for metal shavings!

It would be a good idea to go back to that machine shop and see if they will do anything for you because a newly upgraded and rebuilt motor shouldn't fail that quickly.

I really don't think they will do anything for you though

They will probably say it was just you driving the motor too hard.

yeah i kinda figure they wont do much but if i can figure out what failed and why i can get it fixed from there or evan get the people who sold me the crank to pay the repair cost.... but doubt it and the guys at the speed shop doubt will do much for me.... so we will see though

Well I got a 2nd 2.4 twin But that one is in the garage Rebuilding/upgrading. Hoping it will be done Soon. Been Workin on that one for a wile Takes ALOT OF $$$ To Turbo charger and upgrade soo Its Great. That motor only had 50,000kms the on in my alero Know has 130,000.

Lol well i need to find a freaking spare motor so i can keep the alero running so im not having to wait a long time again. I really have to find one soon though, Monday is my major day to work on the motor and if i have a spare then ill pull out the bad one and drop in the spare all in one day. why does this motor have to be so hard to get from a junk yard LOL

machine shop doesnt warranty their work? we warranty all of ours, especially engine/tranny stuff. Any somewhat reputable shop should IMO
