Anoying Noise!!
Ok when the moter is cold she is quite as can be. as soon as she starts warming up i get a clatering noise yhat sounds like the valve train, but when i turn the wheel puting presher on the power stering pump the noise quites down alot. I thought it was the pump, but after replacing it the noise is still there, it's not as bad but still there. If anyone has heard of this or has info on how to fix it that would be great.

I doin't think it's the cam because the noise goes away when i turn the steering wheel. going to change the oil this weekend, but that doesn't make it go away. it's been doing it for a while, even after past oil changes.

I understand the timing of the noise, but WTF does the valve train sound like? and WTF is a cam noise? seriously, if you know what the sound really is, then that's what the problem is. I mean, if all of a sudden the car started wobbling while I was moving, I wouldn't be checking the headlights. If you truly know what the cams sound like, then check the cams.

Well after putting it off and just dealing with the noise for so long i finaly got down to fixing the problem.
The chain tensioner was the whole problem, had alot of slack in the chain so it was slaping around. yeserday i replaced the chain, the guides, the shoe and gears. noise is now gone. so after $100 in parts and two and a half hours of my own labor all is good now.
