Go for one with single inlet and dual outlet. Super turbo is a nice muffler. I had it in my delta and it was pretty quiet. Dont know how itll sound on the eco though. Also, if you are doing this for performance, replace all the exhaust piping. Replacing just the muffler will not do much for performance, just sound.

I was told not to get the Pacesetter catback from Ion.
I was going to get a Pacesetter Header and this muffler I liked to do new pipping but cost a lot unless someone has suggestions.

DO NOT get the pacesetter system for the 2.2L ecotec.. it sounds fine on my car only because I have the 3400 V6.
on a 2.4L or 2.2L, it sounds like a weed eater fixin to spontaneously combust. its grotesque.

Maybe have it custom fabbed at an exhaust shop. Down here they charged me less than 100 for the piping-the muffler.

Is there any point other than looks to having dual outlets/tips? Seems like the extra bends would be more restriction?

Don't worry guys I've been PMing this guy back and forth since before he made this thread.
The Dynomax Super Turbo will sound the best.
Extra bends being more restriction on a single inlet, dual outlet muffler? LOL.

^hadnt seen that "extra bends" post. Other than looks, there is no benefit, but there is no drawback either.

You suck at logic; I wasn't even talking about your recommendation. The bends are in the piping going to both sides of the car. Heres a pic since you need it. BTW I'm not making any statements about it being restrictive, it was a question (since jumping down my throat for that would be your next move).

There should be no difference, even if you do use a single inlet dual outlet muffler. Basically the dual 2.5" (5" total) outlets are allowing the exhaust gases from one 2.5" inlet to evacuate. 5" should be plenty to do this, regardless of the bends.

I think it's the I motor in general
When I was thinking about buying a Bravada I was checking out mufflers for it. I was just going to do a swap, not an entire exhaust, and finding videos on Youtube of Trailblazers, Evnoys, and Bravadas with the 4.2 I-6 motor, even they didn't sound that good
