I posted this question in the how-to section and am not sure that was the right place to ask this. I need to replace my serpentine blet and I know you have to remove the upper engine mount to get the belt off and on. I but a piece of 2X4 under the oil pan and when I started jacking it up, the entire car began to raise. Is that the right place to be trying to support the engine so I can replace the belt? Maybe the car starting rising since I had not loosened the mount yet? Had to go out and buy an 18mm socket since my set skipped the 18mm and went from 17 to 19 for some strange reason! Thanks.
