I'mpretty sure it's not just settling, it's only that one strut that does it and has been ever since i lowered it a month ago.

wait, i thought u were putting ur new struts on like this week? if you had the problem a month ago of course theres something wrong with that strut.

if it dosent settletry tightening the top strut bolt while the car is on the ground, I had a clacking noise when I did it and tightening them down seemed to do the trick right away.

you put the washer in backwards on the upper strut mount, i did the same thing one time.

No I had that problem with the old strut as well.I'll check the washer when I get home. Though I'm pretty sure it's on correctly. One thing I just thought of though is I used the dropzone springs that say Malibu on them.Could this be the cause?I've heard of others using them before though.

ok newer mailibus should work then older ones like 98 and older wont work, so hows the problem now still messed up?

Didn't get a chance to look at it last night.Still making noises though.The top washer is on with the opening facing up.Like a bowl I guess.Isn't that the right way?

opening up, flat side down..what type of noise is it again? cracking, squeaking, does it sound like metal on metal type of sound? what what??
