Custom Tail Lights

My question is regarding the tail lights on Aleros. As it has been done we have all customed our headlights, now does anyone know how to do the rear. I have seen a member on this site amberbra or something who sells them but thats too much. Anyone know how to get the chrome look? I could probaly figure it out but I dont have any spare lights to toy with. Any suggestions?

you can use testors model paint to make them one color, like i did. they have translucent candy apple red in a small rattle can. spray a few coats with clear and you're good to go.
you could also get clear red vinyl from a vinyl shop.
