Redesign Photoshopping
I need someone with photoshop and some free time.
the majority of my interior is pewter. the rest is taupe. I've been debating as to how i should change the taupe color. I'm still not sure if i will or not, but i'm just getting some ideas now.
Since i have two new doors to play with, i have the opporunity to take them apart and revinyl them (don't have to dink w/ dyes)
First question... is how? i see these plastic rivet things... which you can drill out. but how to you get them to stay together again, once you do that? I'm totally lost at that point. (i'd want them together as tight as they are now. rattling drives me nuts)
Secondly... This is where i need a photoshopper. I want a good color scheme. I'm thinking Pewter and Black with Red (or blue) backlighting. Now... do i want to change the taupe to pewter then have black accents, or leave the pewter where it is, and change the taupe to black?
For the doors, i was thinking doing black where the taupe is, pewter speaker pod, pewter plate/door handle/suede fabric insert
heres some pics for you to play around with(of varying sizes). feel free to post up something original. Even though i may not use it... someone else might.
last two are of the front and back of the door. (same area) i've seen people remove this, and recover it... how to you get it to stay on again, after the "rivets" are drilled out?

i'd LOVE to have richie do it. but TX is too far, and i'm sure it costs too much. in comparison
If richie sees this, feel free to share some tips from an expert.
a very rough cut of the door... at least each piece is in layers now.

i'm kinda torn between having the door black, and the top gray, or vice versa... hmm

Illuminate the bases of the doors, so that when you open the door LEDs light up! Wire it to the cubby light.
And 1000 posts!!!

Put a light behind the door handle, the map pocket, and maybe behind the speaker mesh. Might look alright.

me and yalero were toying with the idea... then his car fell apart. so next time i rip mine apart, i'll find out.
put some leds under the bottom of the window... see if the whole window tints to that color. i hope so... pretty sweet. (although... i hope it doesn't fade the color. i don't want pink windows)

i won't have the map pocket (which i currently have lights in) so i hope to move to lighting up the speaker i'm installing. gotta play with that. i plan on doing the handle and switches.
