Thanks! I Just took out the bulbs, and put leds in their place. I think I have the easiest third brake light out there apart from the clear lense (which is pretty easy as well).

I am going to resize the pics right now too and edit the post. I was too tired last night.

I cut the red one out and kept the clips that snap into the bracket. Then I cut some lexan to fit it and used silicone to seal it.

Thanks sounds easy enough, but did you have any problems with any type of contouring, or does it just lay flat. When you say cut, do you mean if it doesn't work then I'm screwed cut, or cut as in taken out?


...hey do you remember the thickness?

It is just flat. And when I saw cut, I mean you screw up, you better go find a new piece or try to salvage your ruined one with epoxy. I am pretty sure it is 1/8 inch thick (or something real close to it).

Sorry, it is 3/32. Anyways it is non yellowing and non breakable... so it says. Home depot for $14.
