probably went way low on the advance

the rods break only a bit beyond that number

one good question is are they even using the GM 2 Bar Supercharger tune as a base? if not he's using an inaccurate scaled 1 bar setup...

shouldn't need methanol.

if he supposedly has 2 LD9s and knows how to tune them, then something may be wrong with your car.

running an air filter? could be clogged
could have a boost leak
could have exhaust leak pre-turbo
exhaust piping too small (what size do you have?)

do a compression test

then again, you have an eBay journal bearing turbo that is about the size of a genuine GT35R.

also the auto trans slipping will cause a lower reading. and if they're using a mustang dyno it will also be lower than what you might expect from a dynojet or others (by 15-20%)

Your right. He says my tb gasket is leaking alil. He advised me to go to a 3" exhaust with no cat. I'm using a 2.5" exhaust turbo back with cat. In va and need to pass emissions at the end of the week

Compression test for sure.. Also like ion said if it was a mustang dyno your numbers are going to be really low

Wait till after your test, than do the exhaust work lol

Somewhere between 170 and 190.. but the more important thing is that they're all close to each other. And above 150.

Unless you crack that 400hp mark the 2.5 inch will flow just fine. Getting a 3" over the rear arm is next to impossible, not impossible, but its going to hit. If you think the 2.5 is not enough I would invest in an electronic cut-out.... just my 2 cnts bud

This is a turbocharger we're talking about, not a supercharger. Just because it "might" be able to flow fine, doesn't mean you can't make it bigger. No harm in going huge on a turbo exhaust.

2.5" exhaust to 3" open downpipe is a massive gain on my vehicle.

I said open downpipe. It's 2.5" all the way back after that. But yeah, fitting a 3" all the way back is easy. I will do a mandrel stainless soon. For now, opening the downpipe is what I do at the track.

What I have heard from many people is that e-cutouts Tendto break and stop working. No personal experience just word of mouth.

Yep so use a manual one. For me I have the downpipe connected to the rest of the exhaust via v-band. It's as easy as unbolting a clamp and hanging the rest of my exhaust on a second hanger next to it.
