KYB Strut plus

I was on Rock Auto, ready to purchase the KYB Strut plus (Fronts) for my Alero, but they only have the front struts. I looked at the Grand Am section and they have the rear struts. My Question is: will the rear KYB Strut plus for a Grand Am work on my Alero? Also I thinking of getting headers but they are for a Z24 2.4L will those fit also (I have a 2000 2.4L). I know these are noob questions but I'm not trying to fork out money on a part that I can't use.

Thanks for the quick response! I guess I'll use that money towards the MSD ignition coil mod!

Check and compare prices on Amazon before you buy. I love Rockauto and buy a lot of stuff from them but I got a better price with free shipping from Amazon when I bought my Monroe Quick-struts.

Msd coils are pretty useless for these cars. The stock coils are perfect. You rarely have to even upgrade your ignition after boost on these cars.. Save your money.

Thanks Starglow & zzyzzx, I was actually on Amazon a second ago! Are the Monroe's better than KYB's?

Thanks Sleepy. I'll put the money somewhere else on the ride, maybe a new radio! lol ( kids have been beating me up about a better radio than stock )

The struts themselves are probably more a matter of personal preference. Both are probably made in USA. It's when you buy the quick struts you get cheap third world country strut mounts on KYB's. At least that's what I have read. I have used Monroe strut mounts and as far as I can tell, the ones I have used were really solid.
