i just talked to my buddy who owns a audio shop in the area and he said that the deal you got on that suband box is reallly good and also that the 500/1 is perfect for 1 w6. hope that answers your question for ya

^yeah you just needed me to remind you its a 500/1 not a 500/2
j/k dood only fuggin with ya. i was pretty sure thats what he needed as ive seen setups with 2 w6's and and a 1000/1 amp.

yes that would work however it would be putting out less power than the JL and rockfords arent as good of amps as JL's imho...

That amp will be perfect the W6 is a 6 ohm sub so you will have the amp on a 3 ohm load if you wire it in a series. I would buy it rocford has pretty decent amps.

youre still under powering the sub...if you get this amp youre wasting it on a sub meant to take a lot more, a w3 would be better for this amp

any one herd of SPL's amps? my cusion sold me one its a 520 watt 300rms watt... he said he had one and it was really good... He has a freind that bought a bunch of audio stuff from the police that recoverd all this stuff, after these people stole it... I think all of the equipment was still in original boxes and such... so hes selling that amp.. ^ and then hes selling me some ... blockapoint... <--(can not spell that at all) for $20 ill let ya know how well the amp does,

let me know if you have herd of this type of amp too thanks for ur help
