j/k, I removed the mid console but I couldn't remove that part cause the shift knob wont come off. So it's prolly glued with some superglue

In sweden it is, krona means crown though so thats why most english-speaking countrys names it crowns.

um... tried that, i just reread it and you said small, i been trying to it with a reg. flat head, then i tried to get ahold of the thing with needle noses, no luck, slips off and and i can seem to get behind anything with the screwdrive so now im wondering is there a nack im missing or am i retarded, does anyone have a picture of it being done on an 03 maybe a video?

I didn't have a screw driver on hand.. and I was wondering what the hell that thing was and I used a penny to pop it (the staple lookin' clip) out.. then my shifter popped off.. then I peeled the vynal off of it.. and then I went and bought a new shift knob

I used a pocket knife for mine. This tip of it should work (it did on mine).

really cant get it, and if you think i look old my 14 yearold brother just shaved his full beard into a gotee, the thing in there lookes to be plastic but that may be gray pait, theres no reason for mine to have been tampered with b4 eeither because it was a state owned fleet vehicle
