Need a few dash parts,

PM Sent also,
Need, The bracket that holds the hazard warning switch in, and the switch itself, and I also need the center A/C vent,
If it is the same as a 2002 Alero.
I know a lot of the parts are.

(got inpatient and broke it)
I know they could all ship on a Padded Flat rate Envelope, for about $7.00 In the USA, But not sure how shipping from Canada to USA is.

Grand am is not compatible with the alero as far as the interior goes other than the seats being interchangeable...

I've done a complete interior swap so i can say for sure on that lol

OK Thanks For the reply.
Yeah, I went to the "You Pull IT" Today, they had a Few Alleros, and a few Grand ams.
"Just for fun" I looked at the Grand Am., different Hazard all together, Different vents all Together. Has the separate Round vents, like 3 of them in the center IIRC.
He charged me (well they charge a dollar to get in)
$10.00 for the Vent, the plastic bracket, and I took the switch too.
Only thing, the plastic bracket is starting to crack on one side,
Im gonna glue it, and wrap electrical tape around it.....
But I dropped my 7mm 1/4" drive semi deep, So looking for that, found about $2.00 in change...................LOL...........I did find my socket too, The SOB went under the drivers seat. ............LOL.........And I was digging all around the shifter, and radio area. decided to get out of the car, and look under the seat, Bingo............LOL
That's a new set too LMAO...............If it was the short Kolbolt, I probably would have said the heck with it. But I just got These Semi deep Gearwrench, for like $44.00 on e Bay, 3/8" drive,
With 1/4" semi deep included in............
Seem nicely made, if you're in the Market!
Thanks For your help!!

Yeah, thanks for the reply!
Yeah, hell, they wanted about $25.00 to $35.00 for the bracket alone, plus shipping,
(didn't check with my local GM dealer)
and the switch is about $25.00 at Auto Zone, Or about $17.XX at Advance Auto, with a -20% code.
There was an NOS switch on E pay, for about $15.00 shipped, But That might be one of the ones they had problems with.
For the record, I replaced the Hazard switch, about 6 years ago, with the one Auto Zone sells, and it's been working well all along.
I would use that onne this time, but I broke the button off,(and can't find the piece) trying to fish the switch out with a wire.
and I wonder what the center vent would have cost me at the dealer.
Plenty I bet.
So for $10.00, I couldn't go wrong.

Question, to repair the crack in the bracket, do you guys think super glue, or JB weld is stronger?
I plan on about 10 wraps of electrical tape around the bracket after that.
I figure that will absorb some of the vibration that helps the bracket crack.
Don't know why someone like Dorman didn't jump on that and make an aftermarket bracket for the Alero, They would have sold many.

I found that the easiest way to get at the hazard switch is to pull the bezel around the gauge cluster, then you can reach right in.

2 part epoxy would probably work best.

OK, Thanks, I'll use JB weld.
You mean you don't even take out the A/C center vent?
I had a lot of trouble until I got out the center vent.
I made those clips that hold the vent in, weaker, they don't spring down as far now.
I'd bet it will still stay in just fine, and be easier If/when I need to replace the switch again.
I have more time than money these days, or I would just get a new one.....LOL
Thanks Bud.
EDIT
I know what would "shine" getting that switch out, a 7MM flex head ratchet wrench.

I brought a Gear wrench Ratchet wrench for $10.00-20% & 50 cents Tax,
Its not a flex head, but it should
help with the hazard switch.
Say, do you guys know if that little "room Light" I guess its called, It lights the little compartment in front of the shifter, under the heater control.
Do you know if That is in the Cigar lighter circuit fuse too?
I blue the 20 amp mini fuse, # 34 IIRC, fuse, and didn't change it yet, I noticed tonight it's (the light) is out too.

Any chance you have the shroud under the wiper arm vents (second picture on this post http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35970)?

And if the window sweeps for all 4 windows are in decent condition I'd be interest in those too.

sorry the car went for scrap a few weeks ago. I may still have the window sweeps kicking around from my 99 Alero. I will have a look and let you know!
