I think it all depends on what you want, what's best for you. I have 2 12" Infinity's that are perfect for me: sound quality, price, appearance, etc...

That a look at these sites, you might find something you like, or a review of the subs your thinking of getting:

ecoustics
Car Audio Review
Sound Domain
epinions
bah...too many sites to list...just try this:
Google search

Almosty scary. I have one 12 Kicker Solo Baric and it hits hard. I have seen a couple of cars with 2 12's. They hit really hard. Would really like to hear 2 15 Solo Baric Kicker's. Couldn't imagine how hard they would hit.

I have a jl audio 15w3 and I love it but it is in a sealed box and is a sq box so i am only hitting 140 db but ti sounds bad ass and I think that jl is some of the best speakers that you can buy for the money.

It all depends what u want. Do u want volume or u want sound quality? I think that the kickers are sloppy bass. And about the JL's I would only invest in the w6's or for sure the w7. But I like clean bass, stuff that I know i can trust and wont sound like crap. I would go with a JL W7 its gor power and its clean.

i love clean, hard bass. i love JL subs. some of the best out there. Unfortunely my wallet don't like them. But they main thing is cubic ft. I miss the sound of a 15 but don't want a 3 cubic ft box. that is why i thought of kicker

Right now I have a Rockford 15, few years old and I am impressed, but it takes away most all of the trunk room...i would recommend getting either a 12 or two 10's...the installation of the amps and wires and all that easily pushed me $1000.00 and not to mention it works wonders on the battery

...but do what you want...its just my opinon.... B)

My friend has 2 15"s (infinity I believe) in his ford escort wagon... poopty car, but a wagon is perfect because its better reinforced than our trunks... yes they hit hard *understatement*

Christ, a 12" W7 takes a 3 cu. foot box. I can't imagine what a 15" would require- if you're gonna do that you may as well just fabricate a custom trunk out of fiberglass for it and your amp and make it a show piece- kiss trunk space goodbye!
