"ALERO" emblem misplaced?

driving by a used car lot a couple days ago, i noticed an alero for sale, and like i always do, i took a good look at it. when i did i noticed that the "ALERO" letters that are found on the trunk lid were on the lower part of the front doors, like many other makes and models have. it looked perfectly straight and level, so i dunno if this was just somebody doing there own thing to the car before trading it in, or if any year they actually relocated the name to that spot. anybody know of anything like that?

Valley olds is an unknown quantity at this point
That is something I was thinking of too. Only, well, you know how the new silverados say silverado and have the GM mark of excellence on the door. I was thinking of getting the "A", "L", "E", "R","O", and the mark of excellence from the silverado to put on my car's door. I didnt do it cus I thought it'd look tacky. But as far as Im concerned, they didnt have that stock.

it had to be a dealer thing or the guy did his own thing, cuz I've never seen that on an Alero...ever.

I may have a couple of the square "badges of excellence" if you need/have trouble finding them. I tried that out with my alero.. it looks alright for a temporary change.

interesting. it looked kinda weird there tho, and i didnt even notice if it was on the trunk lid as well. wud be kinda odd to have the cars name in 3 places on the car. another weird thing ive seen with the ALERO letters, is putting them on that raised black part on the passenger side of the windshield. looked kinda kool to me.

i like what DOHC did, with the interior part... but wouldn't do it to mine (unless i fancy up the interior some) it just looks classy there, imho.

Reminds me of the early 1980's when they always put emblems in that area

What in the world does that sentence say? I'm having difficulty comprehending its structure.
