The new look - sleeper

Well, it was fun while it lasted, but time to say goodbye to the trusty 'ol AAS body kit. Here's the new (old) look, now that I've gotten everything crammed in behind the factory bumper finally.

I still have some finish work to do like hiding some lines, etc.

The locals are already a bit intrigued at the sound though, so I may have to quiet it down with a stock sounding muffler with cutout.

What did you do with the kit then? Selling it?

thanks.

As for the kit, the daughter is debating on if she wants it on her coupe. If she doesn't make up her mind within a year, it's going up for sale. I think it will compliment her new turbo setup (in the design phase) nicely.

Ah, dang. My car is the same color as yours so it would be an easy bolt up since you have it all cut to fit and stuff too. If she doesn't want it you'll have to hit me up perhaps. Thats the only thing left that I need now to "complete" the car now that its sc'ed.

well, even if I sell the kit, there's no way I'm shipping it. It'd be pickup only. But I see you're only one state over so that wouldn't be an issue.

Why yes, it does! Think way back to the custom 3500 UIM where the neck was angled higher to clear the turbo. It's still that way.

Who'd you hear from? I'd love to hear feedback from others about their 4t65 swaps as well.

Yes, it's so terrible that it's been able to handle the massive amounts of abuse that I've been putting it through for the last several years with 15psi of boost and a heavy foot. Also we're talking specifically about the HD model, not the standard . The 2002 and older ones may be a little crappier, but 2003 and up have been having good reviews in the race crowd with the upgrades GM did at that time.
