Go Wings!
Hey Pat, on your list it doesn't look like Detroit and Toronto play... Too bad, that could have made for some angry conversations, lol.

Hey Nerd... 3-2, overtime... Stick that in your pipe and smoke it

Leafs and Wings only play 1 game all year...during pre-season.
Not like it matters...the Deadthings blow. They're lucky to have got Datsyuk back!

I wholeheartedly agree Pat. Even though I live in Ottawa I could not be a bigger leafs fan. I hated the game last night. We had it on our community television up here and once it was three zip i pretty much stopped watching.

I am not a big Sens fan, but I am extremely happy with the trades they have made in the past few weeks. Unfortunately Toronto is not going to be much hell this year..........BOOOHOOO! Most of their best players are gone, and some of the new might have issues if they get sneezed on. I can't wait until Thornton gets ahold of Lindros! Go Bruins Go!

Must be nice living in Canadanananda right now and waiting for the 1st puck to drop. Here in Jersey I'm still not too excited about opening night. The lockout was the last in a long line of straws for me and I've gone from a diehard fan to an "eh, whatever" fan. Joined the Aleromod hockey league hoping it'll respark something for me. Watching the Rangers-Devils game the other night didn't do it for me and that's always been a must-see match-up here in the NY metro area.

And I'm seeing a Calgary vs. ???? Cup Final with the strong possibility it'll be all Canada in the Cup.

Daytona, you have no idea how strange it is as a Flames fan who started watchign hockey at the very beginning of the bad years to hear that sentence.

Some from a different city expects the Flames in the Finals?

Sports Illustrated thinks we will win the cup?

But we are the Flames, we suck! Oh wait... we USED to suck.

The high expectations scare me though.

2000- Your poor dog! you b@stard!

You know how you feel, B. As a Devils fan from the start in '81-82, I endured the Isanders' 4-in-a-row, Gretzky's calling us a "Mickey Mouse club", and all types of bad years only to finally have my come-uppance in '95 when Stevens laid out Kozlov mid-ice en route to a sweep of the heavily favored Wings. This year, alas, I fear there will be no party in the swamp lot this year.

Great picture!

Isn't it rewarding when you've been through all the bad times to get to see something like that though? Thats awesome.

Speaking of the Devils, they are still over the cap I believe. Whats Lou gonna do!

2000- They watch because they know that the old men on the ice would be easy for them to catch because they are so slow!
