She Runns.......

the sc is on and running

sorry took so long a buddy of mine is batteling terminel canser "hes still kickening 2 weeks later" and i been over there alot with little time here and even less time to get on the sc i got it painted and other pieces painted and installed .........

progress pix

frount exaust cover and few brackets

yes i put these pieces in the oven and backed the paint on

looks alot better

had to have this made for the egr the one i got in the kit was from a 99 3400 i got a 2000

polished a few things sc bracket, water neck, block ontop nothing big
the black water bottel looks alot better than the off white

after my test drive i'm happy with it

VIDEO OF IT RUNNING THERE WAS SOME HIGH WINDS AND THE VIDEO WAS DONE WITH THE CELL SO NOT SO GOOD OF QUALITY JUST SOME FYI

all done

gonna relocate the k&n to the inner fender well awaiting a few tubes "damn summit racing lol"

but all in all it was a easy install except 90% of the bolts went there and the instructions suck thanks to aarongtr and lightning ga for the help on a few things it got done

Is this a custom setup or one of the original rare superchargers? nvm checked it out on gagt.com. I wish there was a bolt on forced induction kit out there, but my bank account is glad that there isn't

like the routing of some of the lines, some doin little polishing like i did, some may intercool, some may do all chrome it just depends on the persons taste,i was originally gonna do all polished but i did that with the rsm kit and it was really warm alot of the time so this sc i chose to do black.

spearco w2a intercooler, wedge shaped, greg mounted it differently than i did, not sure if he is running a heat exchanger or not, but definately an ice tank in the trunk with an electric pump.......

the magnacharger rocks a rare item that can be maintainced"they still have the sc in stck at magnasun" unlike rsm that you cant get intouch with ya vortech will service the sc but you godda get a machine shop to fix the rest of the stuff whitch bloes...

weird i never looked at both pix like this.

kinda nice the AED hood is light and comes off easilly

So what would be required to duplicate this setup? If they still make the sc, is it just a matter of plumbing and tuning? Couldn't the mounting brackets be duplicated?

they make the SC itself, the m62, they don't make the extended shaft or the real important piece that connects the actually supercharger to the UIM and routes the air.......

but if you are gonna go to that much work, with custom brackets and such, you ditch the maggie, like i did for a better more effecient supercharger....
