I read the whole thing, and it doesn't show that specific tire size, All I was able to find was and 8" wide rim should have 235 to 245.. my rim specs are 18x7.5 i just pretty much want these tires as a spare set, my buddy is gonna give them to me for 100 bucks, so i figure if they are that cheap, i'll just buy them incase.

but 245 could cause rubbing with some rim offsets so be careful

Speedo will also read 3.5% too slow. So speedo reading 60 your actually going 62.1

It depends on how high the offset is. It would be a guessing game.

+45 MM offset. Rubbing would be the main problem right? So these 245 40 18s would be bad to buy?

I wouldn't know for sure... I have +40 offset and 235/50/17 tires, and there is barely any room at all between the tire and the spring seat. Here is my old rims and tires... 235/40/18 on a +40 offset, and look how close it is.

It shouldn't rub. I imagine that the shape of the tire could change that... but I had sumitomo HTR+ 235/40/18 on Eagle 077's, which are 8" wide.
