hey i had a question, if i were to buy a water proof high flow cone filter for a CAI would i need to get a bypass valve still?

They make water proof filters? As long as you don't go flying though big puddles you should be okay with a regular filter in the fender.

Even if you do fly through puddles you'll be okay, as long as you don't submerge the filter. We get monsoonal strength rains down here on a weekly basis, and I have yet to get any water in the motor.
