I'm looking at putting Kelly EVO-Z's on the Alero. It's basically the same tire as the Goodyear Essenza EVO-Z, but has a different silica compound for longer tread life. The tread pattern is very close to the Goodyear F1 and has a 420 / AA rating. Anybody tried these to know how they hold up?

well with a rating of 420 i'd say they will hold up quite well for several years. thats a very high tread wear rating.

With a tire that hard I bet they don't have a lot of grip.

Got the EVO-Z's on the Alero. They grip great. The car now takes a 40MPH on-ramp at over 60 effortlessly. The AA traction rating seems to be legit. We'll see how they hold up.
