Red face

Hey all.
I just purchased a stock CD player for my Girlfriend for her birthday. I took a really quick look at the trim and am wondering how you take that off. Is it just a swift pull, or are there bolts in ther somewhere?
Thanks a lot.
Joe

the trim all over the car is pretty much snapped in place, thats how u see a lot of people w/ modded aleros or just modded looks have different trim colors. Start by pulling from the top of the radio and it snaps off. It helps to first put the car in emergency brake and then put the car in first gear so that the trim around the shifter will come up easy thus making it easier to get the trim around the radio out. there are 6 wires (groups) that snap into the plastic trim piece and can be removed, although not necessary to replace the radio. About 3 months ago i replaced the factory stereo with a better stereo that has RCA jacks so I can hook my subs into the stereo instead of splicing them into the back speakers. Email me at wy3134@aol.com if this is confusing or doesnt help.

Wow.
Thanks for the great quick replies.
We got the thing in there and operating. I was happy to find that I didn not need a security code as some have mentioned on other sites.
Thanks again.
PS. This is a great site!
