It's good at the store, too. I plan on ordering some snows for the MINI tomorrow at lunch. He said as long as they wrote up the order Friday or Saturday I'd get the price when they came in.

just so you all know, i know that their deal has passed (discount tire), but tirerack.com has better prices. I just bought the Kumho Ecsta ASX for 70/tire at tirerack, and discount tire direct has 'em for 79/tire. I just wish tire rack was doing the 100 off free shipping deal but...oh well..too late for that i suppose

It depends on the tire. When you figure in shipping and mounting/balancing, they can be about the same. I got Discount to match a TireRack price - best of both.

the shipping is the killer...but if you buy tires and wheels, at tire rack, they'll mount and balance them for free..but their wheels can be pricey

What do you think about this rim from that site?I kind of like it, but I would go with the black chrome finish with the red inserts, and you could always get different colors. $797.00 for a set w/o tires. Not bad at all.Attachment 3184

those aren't bad...just make sure you get the right tires to match...keep in mind that tire rack mounts and balances for free...

Sucks that I find out today the Delta needs tires to pass inspection.

Riding on the belts usually doesn't pass in PA

Would have been dirt cheap too, 4 BFG's are less than $300

i wonder how much some drag radials would cost? i'll probably stick with cheaper tires for daily use but some DR's would be nice for track time. im still trying to get back to MIR before it closes for winter. i have a dilema this weekend, go to the redskins/eagles game or the track to beat your record?

I feel your pain! What's a set of regular rims cost for these cars, not the fancy stock ones, just the ones you pop some hub caps in? I'm ready to take my rims off before the tires cause me some problems.

I was searching around for some more info on these rims and ran across this pic. I also seen a scion with them on but I don't like those.
Attachment 3239 I think they look damn good, but I question if you get choices for the inserts or if you have to paint them yourself. I guess either way is alright but I would prefer to buy them the color I prefer. Thinking about getting these in Black and red inserts.
