to sell the car
either monsoon 6x9's, or another set of soundstream tarantula's (about the only 3 ohm woofer, 4 ohm tweeter speaker)
i could just run regular 6x9's off the deck, but i want to try to use the amp to have most of the stuff the way it was when i bought it.....and im not getting rid of my stereo equp with the car since it will only help the value like $100

i have a set BUT one is fried. matter of fact i noticed when i was playin ludacris right after i bought my alero and i took it back to the dealership where i bought the car from and told them about it and they didnt do a damn thing for me on it and the freakin Chevrolet Dealership here in town wanted like $80 for one of those. LMAO hell no....i just gutted the system and did aftermarket. if i wouldnt have had such a problem i probably left the system stock :P.

Unfortunately, most of us are probably keeping our speakers for the same reason. Resale value. I agree with the previous post. If the speakers lasted a bit longer I would have kept my stock system. It had factory xm and sounded pretty decent for stock. Good enogh for me to avoid altering it for a year. I just got pissed off having to change the speakers. I exchanged both 6x9's three times in one year. The last time of changing them I went straight into work and ordered a new system. The good thing about the speakers blowing is that it was directly responsible for me finding this site. So,  GM for poopy speakers.
